Mark Brown previously served as an elder for ten years. He became a member of Capitol City in 1974 after being invited by a Godly man he respected. He found Capitol City to be a church that faithfully preached the Gospel of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. Mark co-taught a first grade Sunday School class for several years. He and his wife, Janice, taught a Bible-based parenting program six times. Mark earned a business degree at U.N.L., where he served as President of Capitol City’s campus ministry. He received a law degree from Pepperdine University, where he co-founded a Christian Legal Society chapter, serving as Vice President. Mark is a private practice Attorney. In his free time, Mark enjoyed teaching Business Law for fifteen years at U.N.L. College of Business and has also enjoyed coaching youth baseball for fifteen years. Mark and Janice have two adult sons, Brian and Mark.
