Community Groups and Men’s and Women’s Ministry are major ways to connect and grow spiritually at Capitol City. Throughout the week, Community Groups gather to study God’s Word and connect with other Christ-followers. We encourage you to connect to a group today.
Community Groups
Why Community Groups?
Relationships are in the DNA of our church; we believe that authentic relationships, grounded in brotherly love, facilitate the best environment for making disciples of Jesus. One of the places that this can happen is in a community group.
When We Meet…
Community groups meet at various times and locations to study the Bible, fellowship, pray, and more. Groups meet weekly or bi-weekly for about an hour to 90 minutes. Each group is a place where you can get to know others and grow in faith together. These groups are what make our church more than just a church. They make our church a place of real community.
Capitol City Men’s Ministry
Our Men’s Ministry exists to kindle the flame of the Holy Spirit in men—calling husbands, fathers, leaders, and servants to find and follow Jesus in every part of life. We challenge one another to pursue courageous faith, grow spiritually, serve God’s Kingdom, and build authentic relationships that sharpen and strengthen us.
Anchored in Scriptures like “Put on the full armor of God…” (Ephesians 6:11), we gather for discipleship and events to help men walk with integrity, purpose, and joy. Whether we’re sharing a meal, serving our community, or diving deeper into God’s Word, our heartbeat is simple: to help men follow Jesus boldly and lead their families and communities with Christ‑like character.
Capitol City Women’s Ministry
Our Women’s Ministry is a place where women of every age and season can grow in faith, friendship, and purpose. Rooted in Capitol City’s mission of people helping people find and follow Jesus, we encourage one another to pursue Christ wholeheartedly, deepen our understanding of Scripture, and live out our calling with courage and compassion.
Through Bible studies, discipleship groups, and meaningful gatherings, we create space for authentic relationships that strengthen and uplift. Whether we’re learning together, serving our community, or walking alongside one another through life’s challenges, our desire is simple: to help women follow Jesus faithfully and reflect His love in their homes, workplaces, and everyday lives.
Capitol City Pep Club
(55+ Ministry and Events)
Pep Club is a welcoming community for adults 55 and older who want to stay connected, grow in their faith, and enjoy meaningful time together. In step with Capitol City’s mission of people helping people find and follow Jesus, this ministry creates space for friendship, encouragement, and spiritual growth in a season of life that’s rich with wisdom and purpose.
From group trips to places like Branson or the Ark Encounter in Kentucky, to potlucks and other fun gatherings, Pep Club offers opportunities to share life, build relationships, and celebrate God’s goodness together. Through fellowship, prayer, and shared experiences, we continue to walk with Jesus and with one another—strengthening our faith and our community along the way.
